Astrea Life: Ezgi Kacar
Ezgi is a general practitioner and family medicine specialist who has special interest in nutrition, alternative therapies and holistic health.
She graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa School of Medicine in 2012, started her family medicine speciality training in Istanbul Okmeydani Research and Training Hospital in 2013 and completed her speciality thesis on self-efficacy levels of patients with Type 2 Diabetes in 2017.
While working as a medical doctor in busy hospitals, GP surgeries and rural areas, Ezgi realised that health was more than solely the absence of disease; it is the combination of physical, mental and social wellbeing. As a curious scientist, she investigated different routes to treating patients and in 2015 became a level 2 Reiki practitioner. The shift improved her own lifestyle and encouraged her to further study in this area. She became a Bioenergy and Access Bars practitioner in 2017. While working in an A&E department, she recognised the importance of nutrition and motivation in stressful environments. Those experiences led her to study hypnotherapy and nutrition. She has a diploma in Cognitive Behavioural hypnotherapy and recently graduated from the Institute of Intergrative Nutrition. As a holistic health coach with a medical background, she knows everyone is a bio-individual with unique paths to health. Ezgi has been helping and supporting her clients to assess their specific needs and structure bespoke healthy lifestyles.
Carolyn is a licensed Acupuncturist and meditation coach.
Acupuncture is a completely holistic modality which treats body, mind, emotions and spirit. An acupuncture consultation covers lot of lifestyle advice, so combined with meditation coaching, a completely unique and tailored to the individual service is offered by Carolyn, who has nearly 20 years of experience in her field.
Carolyn's entire philosophy is encapsulated in her recently released book 'Choose Life' which is available in Kindle and paperback formats on Amazon.
Carolyn offers all of her services as combined or standalone, whichever the patient prefers. For coaching and mentoring online video sessions are available.
Carolyn's services are all fairly valued at £55 per hour. Courses are available which spread the cost even further, and are also recommended to get the full benefit of working with Carolyn. Courses are valued at 6 for the price of 5 £275, or 11 for the price of 9 £495.

From there I took the learning and passion I gained to train as a Nutritional Therapist, coupled with my expertise as a Life Coach so that I could help other people like me change their lives for good.
I’ve judged the Nourish Awards twice, so I know what I’m talking about when it comes to identifying foods that can support a healthy lifestyle and easily identify those not so healthy ones!
I have a regular slot on a local radio station talking about Type 2 diabetes and share lots of hints and tips about managing the condition, as well as interviewing people who have it so that they can share their experiences with others.
It didn’t stop there for me though; I’ve had numerous health issues through my life so to support myself I took up Yoga and Meditation, which helped me enormously... I decided to become a teacher and now incorporate these to help my clients with their mind and body at the same time.'

Matt Farr is a Health Coach & Personal Trainer with over 16 years of experience.
