Nutritional Therapy


Health and Career coach Bonny Prim is passionate about helping you achieve your health and wellbeing goals.


Bonny offers Nutritional Therapy as a focused service or to compliment her Life Coaching sessions.  Bonny is also a Yoga Teacher and Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher, Bonny works with you to identify what it is you need and uses a combination of approaches to help you get there. You might need more support with nutrition, or it could be that you want to make a change in your life, but you just don’t know what. Through coaching, you can identify what this is and start on the journey to achieve your goal.


Sessions are all about looking forward into the future, getting you to achieve the goal, reach the outcome you are looking for and live well. You won’t spend time dwelling on the past or getting bogged down with has happened before and sometimes the path toward the goal can be rocky, but Bonny aims to keep you on track, challenge you, question you and make you accountable.  You are a team!

Bonny works with clients from a variety of backgrounds and she is particularly passionate about working with clients who have Type 2 diabetes or who have been told they are pre-diabetic, as she has had huge success with previous clients; enabling them to put their condition into remission in less than a year.

So why Bonny?

'I know what it’s like to have health problems!  I struggled with my weight for many years before I found a very understanding knowledgeable GP who started to teach me about nutrition.  From there I took the learning and passion I gained to train as a Nutritional Therapist, coupled with my expertise as a Life Coach so that I could help other people like me change their lives for good.


I’ve judged the Nourish Awards twice, so I know what I’m talking about when it comes to identifying foods that can support a healthy lifestyle and easily identify those not so healthy ones!


I have a regular slot on a local radio station talking about Type 2 diabetes and share lots of hints and tips about managing the condition, as well as interviewing people who have it so that they can share their experiences with others.


It didn’t stop there for me though; I’ve had numerous health issues through my life so to support myself I took up Yoga and Meditation, which helped me enormously... I decided to become a teacher and now incorporate these to help my clients with their mind and body at the same time.'

Bonny offers a free 50 minute initial consultation to all clients.

Good nutrition can be combined with an effective exercise program in order to achieve those goals, whereas poor nutrition is often what holds someone back.

Because quality nutrition is such a critical aspect of good health and fitness, there is a need to have more than a working knowledge of the fundamentals of nutrition. Athletes, people dealing with chronic illness, people with food allergies, and those dealing with obesity are among the specialized populations that can benefit from talking with a specialist in fitness nutrition. 

Your fitness nutrition coach

has the ability to help you make better nutrition choices and develop healthy habits. Through the course you’ll learn how to set and meet goals, select fresh, nutrient-dense foods, and how to shop for and prepare healthy meals. When applicable, fitness nutritionists will be able to set up a diet to meet specific goals.

Knowing how the body adapts to exercise is one of the keys to understanding what it needs nutritionally to work at the optimal level and your sports nutritionist has a thorough understanding of nutrition and the body, so is positioned to meet the specific needs of each client and their unique needs.
