The Workshops:
How Wellbeing Really Works – Interactive Talk
with Liz Introno
In this workshop, Liz introduces the fundamentals of the nervous system and the emotional vasomotoric cycle – a key principle of biodynamic psychology. You’ll explore how the body responds to stress and emotions, and learn simple practices to help you regulate in real-time. Discover how to tune into your inner needs and access your natural ability to restore calm.
Guided Self-Massage for Resilience
with Bethany Wynn
This guided self-massage workshop helps you connect with your body and soothe your nervous system through gentle, intentional touch. You’ll explore common areas of tension and pain and learn simple, effective ways to ease them. Bethany shares her understanding of pain patterns and invites curiosity about how we move and feel — encouraging a pain-free, compassionate approach to your body.
Soothing Chemistry: Aromatherapy for Calm
with Joanna Rennie
In this gentle session, Joanna introduces essential oils that support nervous system regulation. You’ll explore how scent works on a chemical and emotional level, discover what suits your unique needs, and learn safe, effective ways to use aromatherapy at home. Each participant receives a personalised balm created in advance, used during the self-massage session and as a sensory anchor long after the retreat.
Grounding Yoga for Nervous System Support
with Delice Headlam
Delice blends the principles of the use of breath, posture and embodiment to explore the journey of inner connectivity and self-discovery. Her approach to yoga highlights the mindfulness to lifestyle, physicality, mentality and emotional wellbeing that each person experiences on a day to day, and so with this you are guided into finding a way to move.
"movement is my first language and while I create a guided practice which is a stimulating experience, you will explore and embody emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual aspects of Self."
A flowing, somatic, breath-led class designed to settle the nervous system and bring you gently into your body. Suitable for all levels, with variations provided throughout.
