The TruthPie Collective

All treatments provided at TruthPie Centres are conducted by independent practitioners who take on full responsibility for their up to date qualifications, association memberships, insurance, first aid management and any advice or treatment given to their clients.

TruthPie practitioners work on a self employed basis and operate independently of TruthPie Ltd, therefore any advice/therapy/services given are the responsibility of the individual practitioner and not of TruthPie Ltd. TruthPie represents an administration and venue hire service to the practitioners only.

TruthPie are a third party who introduce clients and complementary therapy practitioners but it is the client and practitioner’s responsibility to assess the suitability of therapies or coaching undertaken.

The Client understands that any services received at TruthPie are complementary to and not in replacement of allopathic medicine. The client confirms that if they have any physical/mental health concerns, they have agreed suitability of any service/treatment with their medical advisors prior to attendance at TruthPie.

The client understands that in order to contact them, TruthPie and it's practitioners may move data obtained on this form and through their booking to another suitable system. They understand that TruthPie and it's practitioners will contact them concerning any bookings i.e confirmations, receipts and reminders.

Client appointments
-
All treatments provided at TruthPie Centres will last for the specified duration purchased. i.e. a 60 minute treatment will last 60 minutes. This may include time for consultation.

All clients must complete a consultation form prior to treatment and may need to speak with a practitioner for a pre-treatment video/phone consultation where appropriate

Treatments will only be conducted if the practitioner deems the treatment safe for the client to receive

GP/Consultant permission may be required before treatments can be provided

Inappropriate Behaviour

Any TruthPie practitioner has the right to terminate a treatment immediately if the client demonstrates inappropriate or sexual behavior.

Payment will be collected for the full treatment price, provided more than 10 minutes has been spent massaging the client.

If the therapist is unable to collect money before leaving, an invoice will be sent to the client’s email or address.

All invoices must be paid prior to the appointment or within 7 days of issue date, whichever is sooner. If issued after an appointment has been conducted, payment is due immediately upon receipt.

Cancellation Policy
-
A booking is confirmed once TruthPie or a TruthPie practitioner and the client have both agreed a date, time, duration and location for a treatment.

If a cancellation is made more than 24 hours before a treatment (or 72 hours for appointments with Liz Introno), the client will not be charged.

If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the treatment (or 72hours for appointments with Liz Introno), clients are to pay for their treatment in full and as per our usual payment terms.

If a client is experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 or has knowingly come into contact with someone with Covid-19 symptoms within two weeks prior to the treatment, the client must cancel their session with immediate effect and the cancellation fee will be waived.

TruthPie have the right to cancel a treatment by giving 24 hours notice or as early as possible if within 24 hours.

TruthPie have the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the room or environment is unsuitable for the treatment to be provided, or if the therapist is taken ill.

TruthPie have the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the client is intoxicated or inebriated.

TruthPie commits to rearranging treatments to a new time and date within two weeks of the cancelled treatment wherever possible.

Gift Vouchers/Coupons
-
Gift vouchers/Coupons can be used as payment towards any available, advertised treatments.
-
Gift vouchers/Coupons are only valid for the dates set out in their delivery and will expire 12months after issue at the latest.

If the whole amount of the Gift voucher is not used, you may redeem the remainder of the coupon to another appointment.
-
Postage will only be charged for Gift vouchers that are paid for online and then posted.
-
Refunds are not available for Gift vouchers already paid for and provided.

Feedback Forms
-
Feedback and review requests will be sent to clients at TruthPie’s discretion.

Content provided in feedback and reviews may be used in publicity material and on the website.

Website Content

Website content will be authorised and managed at TruthPie’s discretion, including testimonials.

Photographs will only be displayed with the consent of the people in the photograph

Photograph consent may be obtained by TruthPie verbally, or in writing if the client completes a photo release form.

Photo release forms can be requested by phone or email

Payment
-
TruthPie accepts payment by Paypal, Stripe and Izettle or arrangements can be made for direct payment to the TruthPie practitioner (not advised).

Invoices will be sent to clients who do not pay for treatments, or who cancel treatments within 24hrs (or 72hrs for appointments with Liz Introno).

Privacy Policy

Client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian

Consultation Forms and treatment notes will be kept on file, securely by individual practitioners in line with GDPR

All clients must complete a consultation form prior to receiving treatments.

Clients give TruthPie and TruthPie practitioners permission to hold records and data about them in accordance with our Privacy Policy

Personal information will not be shared with any third parties but may be shared between TruthPie practitioners

TruthPie may use data collected upon booking or from client contact forms to improve the relevance of our advertising and marketing. TruthPie will not use sensitive medical data for this purpose but may use personal information provided in bookings or which the client has already provided to other agreed third parties such as names, contact details and other information.

Clients may choose to subscribe to email marketing from TruthPie at the time of booking or using newsletter subscription forms on the truthpie.net website or on other forms. They may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in the footer of their emails.

Young Clients

Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The adult must give permission for the treatment to be performed.

The adult must co-sign the client’s consultation form.
-
The adult must be present in the room throughout the treatment.

Complaints Procedure

If a client wishes to make a complaint about TruthPie or a TruthPie practitioner, this must be emailed to info@truthpie.net

Complaints must include the date and location of the incident, the full name of the complainant, details of the complaint and a desired outcome following the complaint

All complaints will be taken very seriously and a response will be provided within 28 days

Clients must contact TruthPie at least 48hrs in advance of their treatment if they require treatments from a practitioner with a particular association membership (for insurance purposes). We cannot guarantee availability of a suitable practitioner but will be able to provide information regarding the associations to which our practitioners belong.

Harassment and bullying are not allowed and will not be tolerated on the TruthPie Blog and anyone considered to be posting harassing comments will be removed from the site at TruthPie’s discretion without notice or explanation. Comments TruthPie considers to be of this nature will also be deleted without notice.

Refund Policy - Physical Products

Due to the sensitive nature of the fresh, small batch products available to purchase in the TruthPie store, we only offer refunds should products arrive damaged or faulty. In this event, clients must contact TruthPie via email within 1 week of delivery with proof of damage (e.g. photographs of faulty product) on info@truthpie.net
